Zhen Luoyang takes his favorite disciple Qiu Wenhua to pursue and capture a lecher only to be killed by him. To avenge his master, Qiu sets out to look for Wang Debao who is said to possess a migic sword. With the help of itinerant hero Black Zhang, he finally locates Wang.
Wang tells Qiu there is no sword that can cut iron like clay. He says the skill lies in the swordsman. He gives Qiu the imperial sword sent by the emperor to kill the concubine and teaches him the "gale-force sword technique". Using his superb martial arts, Qiu finally kills the lecher with the sword, rids the people of an evil and avenges his master's death.
