Yang Tian qing's uncle YangJin shan is an owner of dye-works who
Has physiological defect and has been married to two women early
orlate whom he gets them down and died. For having a son to carry
hisfamily, he purchases a young and beautiful woman-JuDou with much
of money.
On day time, she works at the dye-house, at night she serves him
as hegives vent to his obscenity. YangQing tian is nearly forty
and has not taken to wife. He feels curiosity and sympathy for her
who is abused by his uncle and cries piteously, so he often secretly
looking at her bathing.
To his uncle's cruelty, TianQing is forced to keep his resentment
to himself in view of being afraid of feudal ethics. When Yangjin
shan is not at home, TianQing can't helping falling in love with
her and has her with a child. Soon after their child TianBai is
born. But YangJian shan doesn't know the fact and goes into raptures.
One day he is down with apoplexy and is paralyzed who knows their
personal relationship at long last and nurses thoughts of revenge,
but his ability is falling short of his wish. Later, he drops into
the dye-pool and drowns during playing with the child.
On the basis of family's custom, TianQing has to move out. He and
JuDou often stealthily meet at countryside. Soon after much gossip
about them spreads at village. TianBai has grown up and hears of
the his life experience. Although he knows TianQing is his own father,
he forces him to move out of the dye-works with hostilities and
hate.
TianQing and JuDou revive their old experience at the cellar where
is short of air, they are
suffocated. TianBai drops TianQing into the dye -pool when he is
in coma. JuDou is despaired and lights a fire at the dye-works.
In the end, the feeling of gratitude and resentment has lasted for
ten years is reduced to ashes.
